How Quotafix makes money

Quotafix is reader-supported. We publish independent reviews, comparisons, and guides about cloud storage services. When you click an outbound link on the site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the partner — at no extra cost to you.

Which links earn us commissions

Any link on the site that starts with quotafix.com/go/ is an affiliate link. We also mark affiliate links and buttons with rel="sponsored" and open them in a new tab, as required by Google's link attribution guidelines.

Non-commercial links — for example, links to Google's own help documentation, to news sources, or to our own blog posts — are not affiliate links.

How we choose what to recommend

Editorial independence matters more than commission. We recommend services based on the following criteria, in this order:

  1. Real-world usability — we have tested or independently researched every service we recommend.
  2. Fit for the reader's situation — the best service for a privacy-first user is not the best service for someone who wants a lifetime plan. Our recommendations reflect that.
  3. Value for money — we compare prices honestly, including price increases, hidden fees, and long-term cost.
  4. Commission — this is the last factor, not the first. If a service does not meet our standards we will not recommend it, regardless of commission rate.

What this means for you

When you buy through our links, we earn a small commission that helps us keep the lights on. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid going directly to the service's website. In some cases our link carries a discount or bonus the service does not offer via direct signup — where this is true, we say so on the relevant page.
